This is a typical deck without good care for years in Parau West Auckland. Firstly see how it looks before and after our complete cleaning. This is before we started. Probably I should not post this photo it’s kind of scary:) All right I make it smaller. I show you the “after” cleaning photo first.

The left was “before” photos as promised I shrinked it to a smaller version. All moss over the years were blasted off back to timber treatment.
And the front entrance. It starts to look much better. We do very good very much detail oriented cleaning works. This is the basic for a good painting work. 2/3 of our works are actually preparations as I always say to customers: it’s all about preparations.

Now it’s about painting. Two paints are used: Dulux deck paint in black and some of our colorsteel roof paint in black we left in half bucket from other jobs. Why roof paint? Not for all area, only for those very very badly damaged timber panels like this part:

As you can tell from the photo, the timber was deeply rotten. The roof paint is going to penetrate into all deep details. While the next photo shows you how cracking deck panels are capable of sucking in huge amount of paint.

Do something to save your deck before too late.
